Journey to the Underworld

Taenarum

After a little sail, you end up beached on the shore of Taenarum. Somewhere around these parts is supposedly a cave that leads into the underworld. Apparently it is a regular highway as Orpheus, Heracles, Theseus and Pirithous all used this cave at one point in their own, probably less exciting, adventures. Because this little passageway is less than secret given the amount of heroes going in and out of it, you had already heard of the giant deadly snake that made his home in the forests surrounding the cave. You would think that one of the previous dudes would have killed it by now, but they were too busy saving their dead wives, dognapping Cerberus, and stalking Persephone to care about one fatally poisonous serpent. The chances of you escaping the notice of this beast are incredibly slim, especially since it has already spotted you while you were dumbly listening to my narrative. Let’s hope you’re strong enough to slay it. Please role one six-sided die to find out!
